The Rise of the Playlist
From Spotify to YouTube, music lovers have been liking, following and sharing playlists. I myself have spent an exorbitant number of hours carefully crafting the perfect playlist to put on while studying… ok I admit it, I spent more time making playlists than studying.

When trying to study with my playlist I found I really didn’t get much done. Through no fault of the playlist I assure you, it was the fact that I was too close to the music in it and that I had control of it.
Upon learning this I switched to other peoples playlist, primarily on YouTube. While there are many quality playlists there, I found myself confused with some of the tracks included in those lists.
